Testing may be the red-headed stepchild of software development but my god is it useful. I have a full test suite for my project at work and because of it I was able to implement two huge features in under 4 hours. I had estimated each one to take about a day but I was so wrong. Now I can see that tests are an investment that will start to pay you back as you tackle larger goals.
